[Snape looks, if anything, less cared for than usual.  His hair hangs lank and dirty, dirt and muck covers his robes, and there are scratches on his hands.  Right now he's trekking through the forest, whacking low-hanging branches out of his way with his hand while also trying to shield his face.]

Would someone explain what the hell is going on?

[He readjusts the blackberry so the feed shows the view from a port: the vast blackness of space and a scattering of stars.]

Why are we in space?  And how is this happening?

[And he goes back to looking confused and frustrated.]

[Snape's standing near one of the raptor pens.  Despite the warm weather he's still wearing his robes.  He stands with his hands jammed into his trouser pockets, scowling down at the raptors in the pits.]

[He steps closer to the barrier.]

I wonder where they're from.

He'd seen it all.  He knew Lupin's secret.  It explained everything.  So what else could he do but confront the boy about it?
